Sometimes, I find myself standing in front of my closet with no idea what to wear...when clearly supply is not an issue. I chose to browse through my Polyvore and find a few of my favorite compilations from the past! Enjoy these fall tones. (You will also find that many of the items are repeated throughout the compilations which goes to show that true staple accessories can go a long way). You can shop items below the Polyvore collage.

New Lips, New Hair, Don't Care
A week ago I chose to forgo my long locks for the fall and debut a new choppy bob. I am so in love with my choice and also chose to snaz things up even more by choosing a dark lip for autumn.
To be completely and totally transparent, I wanted to try out the new fad of matte lip paint which has become so popular with the Kylie lip kits, but I did not want to directly support the Kardashians with any of my money. So, I chose to go with an environmentally friendly version of the same concept at a store I love.
I cannot say enough good things about Tarte's lip paint. It glides on smoothly and dries into a creamy matte. I have tried every drugstore brand lip stain there is, and they just do not stick no matter what primer is applied. I got to work for 13 hours at a time, and the last thing on my mind is reapplying makeup. I want to put it on and not worry about weird patches that stick around after eating. Some things are worth a little extra cash, and this $20 luxury lip paint is just it.
I am wearing the Tarte lip paint in "Brownie - Brown" which you can purchase here. I was actually color matched by a Sephora employee while I was there, Essentially, she takes a small computer with a camera on it, cleans it off, puts it on your cheek, forehead and chin and takes multiple photos of your skin. It then matches you up to different shades of every product they have and recommends specific products & brands that will work seamlessly with your skin.
While I did like the recommendations given to me by the color matching, they were (as I expected) lighter shades of pinks and maudes to go with my fair skin. I chose to break the rules of color and get the brown shade I had my eyes on.
I do, however, highly recommend taking advantage of the fact that you can try on different lip shades while there. I have never done this, but with taking such a risk and getting a different color completely out of my norm I knew it was necessary.
All of this being said, the lip stain stays on for at least 6 hours and I have received countless compliments on my new look.
Have you shaken anything up out of your beauty routine lately?

What to Watch on Netflix
On nights off by myself, there is not much to do except truly enjoy doing absolutely nothing.
I have engaged in the ever-infamous "find someone you know and steal their Netflix password" game, and have found a few movies which were worth the watch. Some were of a better caliber than others but overall I didn't feel any were a waste of my time and a number of them were emotional tear jerkers. I often find that I stick to relatively well-known movie titles on Netflix because the small budget films are often disturbing and beyond weird. If there is one blockbuster actor in the movie I am more likely to watch the show. I find that TV shows are a safer bet on Netflix and Hulu for that matter.
1. Armageddon
This was most definitely one of the best movies I have seen on Netflix lately. It will have you crying, and the soundtrack definitely makes the entire movie a more emotional experience. The filmography was brilliant with some stunning effects considering when the film was made and how far things have come since then.
2. World Trade Center
I admit, I cannot stand Nicolas Cage. This is my own personal opinion, but I do not find his acting convincing at all. However, the movie was moving in itself based on the accurate depictions of what actually happened on that September Day we will never ever forget.
3. Frida
I thought this movie was brilliant. Different, dark, and just brilliant. This movie did the biographical depiction of Frida's painful life justice.
4. Cruel Intentions
Though this was a very riveting and concerning watch, I couldn't believe how twisted it was and could not stop watching it once I started. Definitely not a family watch, but a great one nonetheless.
5. Holes
I love this movie, and I still stick to the belief that this is one of he most accurate remakes of a book yet. That being said, go read the book. It is well worth it.
What movies are you loving on Netflix lately?
As far as TV shows go, I recommend How I Met Your Mother, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Parks and Recreation, the ever famous Grey's Anatomy, and The Office.

Must Have Bag: Lilly Reversible Beach Tote
Okay, so if you make any purchase this summer, this is it.
This Lilly Pulitzer Exotic Garden Reversible Beach Tote is not even available on the main Lilly site or most Lilly sister stores, so hop on the purchase now at Neiman Marcus. Not only are the silky tassels to die for, but the saffiano-printed polyurethane is a perfect material not only for the beach but for everyday use. I love all of my Lilly because it allows me to hide the stains that I just so happen to get on everything I own without it being too tragic if the stain doesn't come out. The polyurethane allows you to just wipe off you get anything you get on the bag...from sand to sangria.
The colors on this adorable tote cannot be done justice over the internet. I believe this bag is sold out in most stores...so run over to NM now by following the link above! If you the need the final push to make the purchase...remember this bag is reversible, so you get two bags for the purchase essentially :)
XOXO,
